		<description>It may very well just have been a cost factor. It&#039;s usually cheaper to renovate, even at this level, than to plow down the whole house and start over. The tear down, permits, construction costs and potential overdrafts can easily cost more than renovating the house. 

I&#039;m not sure about the restrictions on building McMansions. I have seen a handful of them in the Highlands area...not a lot, but I have seen some.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m not familiar with the Highlands area other than knowing it&#039;s a very desirable area. Are there restrictions on building McMansions in the area?  I&#039;m just wondering why they renovated this property instead of dozing it or &quot;remodeling&quot; it by leaving one wall intact. It seems if they put that much money into the property, it would have been better to rebuild.</description>
